Hey family! How are you all doing? I don't know how
it's already P-Day again, but I am not complaining. This past week went
so fast, but was really good.
On Tuesday, we had District Meeting in Pforzheim, and then
we had our usual Finding Day for the rest of the day, but had to hurry home
because we had an appointment with a family. They are way sweet.
The dad is a pretty high up hockey ref I think. He is helping with the
German National Team Olympic Qualifications. For whatever reason, there
is something in Bietigheim-Bissingen. Not too sure... In anycase, that is
cool. And his wife used to play for the German National Hockey Team. Cool eh? Even cooler was that they
had fun kids who were 7 and 5, and 2, so it sort of gives me an idea of what
the boys will be like. I try to figure it out every time we see little
kids, but it is still weird to me.
On Wednesday, we had an appointment with the G family. We found out that they won't be transferred for a while (he works
for the American Military) so that is good.
Thursday, we tried to go by on quite a few people, but
nobody was there, or they were too busy and didn't have tons of time.
Which is always tough.
Friday, we had an appointment with a younger family with
four kids. It was way funny. They made vegetarian tacos. I
know why most vegetarians are so skinny too now. You just have no desire
to eat a lot. No, I am totally kidding, it actually tasted good, haha!
The kids are way funny, they really do say the funniest things.
Sunday was good. I didn't have to give my talk which
was awesome! Haha! Instead, it turns out that there was an exchange
student in the ward from California so she spoke. Afterwards we met with the Sülzle family. Which we would
spell Suelzle. Cool eh? You pronounce it pretty different in German
too. The father is not a member, but really supportive and good towards
the church. He even has a calling.
